Key West Pottery News

A quick note to let everyone know that we have a launched two supporting sites for our work. Firstly, a portfolio site for a lot of the custom artwork we do that does not reach the galleryβ€”www.AdamJRussell.com A great place for idea gathering and seeing some of Adam’s work in its permanent surroundings. Next, the Key West Pottery Instagram! Like many of you, we are always on the go and Instagram is a brilliant way for us to make more updates more often…

Hoping your season is filled with magic, thank you all for your support of our work over the past year. 2014 has been a year of quantum leap for our Gallery and 2015 is starting to look very exciting as well. Our holiday card is an image of Adam Russell’s “5 Watchovers” illuminated at night in front of The Marker. Make sure you stop by and see this Key West public art landmark during your next stay on the island. on William St. at Caroline—adjacent to Schooner Wharf.

Happy Holidays!

Big Week! So nice to see a project come to fruition after months of planning and production. Monday and Tuesday saw Adam Russell’s “Five Watchovers” installed in front of The Marker—Key West’s newest waterfront resort, opening early December.

In Line with the rest of Adam’s work, these sculptures are layered with meaning and references within themselves but can be read more generally as; The Watchover of the Navigator, The Watchover of the Feeling, The Watchover of The Republic, The Watchover of the Red Sky, and The Watchover of the Quiet Life. Big thanks…
